A man has been arrested after a car was stolen from a car dealership in Preston.
Police were called on Monday 6th June to reports a car had been stolen. Within 30 minutes of the initial report, the car had been tracked and stopped by Tac-Ops officers on the M61 near Rivington where a man was arrested.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, Damian Partington, who is 47 and from Springwood Hall Road in Oldham, has been charged with theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified.
