Popular American restaurant Five Guys is set to open in the coming months in Preston on the Deepdale Retail Park.
After month of speculation and rumours circulating through social media, Five Guys have submitted a planning application to Preston City Council to alter some of the building that formerly housed Frankie & Bennys.
Earlier this year, Preston Hub reported that Five Guys were seeking managers through their online job portal, and are now even closer to opening with a new door and shop front signage going up soon.
Launched in 1986 in Arlington in Virginia, USA, Five Guys is named after the five sons of Jerry and Janie Murrell, who offered their children a choice of college or starting a business. The five sons opted for the latter, and the chain now has over 100 restaurants in the UK.
