Two Rescued From Burning Building In Plungington

Two people have been rescued from a house fire in Plungington earlier today.

Fire engines were seen rushing to the scene on St Cutherbert’s Close in Plungington, Preston.

Fire engines from Preston and Penwortham arrived to the house, a mid-terraced property, with firefighters rescuing 2 casualties from the property. They were taken to hospital.

The fire was extinguished using two hose reels, one jet and four breathing apparatus, and is under investigation.
