A Preston law business has expressed their disgust at a local man for stealing a charity box in aid of Donna’s Dream House.
According to Hadi Law Solicitors, a man entered their office yesterday evening and stole a charity box containing £60.
Hadi Law Solicitors are based on the 2nd floor of Preston’s Enterprise House. The box was placed on their reception area.
The Preston business captured the incident on their CCTV system and have reported the stolen charity box incident to Lancashire Police.
Hadi were raising money for Donna’s Dream House, a Blackpool charity that provides holiday experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses.
Hadi Law Solicitors’ Katie Turtle Taylor said: “We all feel violated that someone could walk in off the street purely with what seems like the only intention of stealing this.
“Quite often, we would leave items such as our phones or keys in the reception area whilst visiting other office areas. We are disgusted that someone could steal from a charity.”
No arrests have been made and anyone with information should call 101, quoting the reference number LC-20220825-0527.
