Five Guys have officially opened their first restaurant in Preston at the Deepdale Retail Park with Presotnians rushing in their dozens to chow down on a burger and chips, washing it all down with a shake.
Burger loves rejoiced earlier this year when CityHub News announced the intentions of Five Guys to launch in Preston, following an application being submitted to Preston City Council.
People from across Preston have rushed to get their Five Guys fill, with influencers and commentators sharing on social media.
@LancashireFoodie tried Five Guys Preston out and left the following review on their Instagram:
“Venue and staff: a nice friendly welcome from the staff 😃 lots of seating a mixture of high and normal but not many booths which is different from all the other restaurants we’ve been to, it would have looked cool with booths all down one side 😃”
Five Guys is named after the five sons of Jerry and Janie Murrell, who offered their children a choice of college or starting a business. The five sons opted for the latter, and the chain now has over 100 restaurants in the UK.
