Southport has suffered another major loss to its hospitality scene as Bistrot Pierre on Lord Street is now listed as permanently closed on Google. The restaurant, which occupied a prime location by the Monument on the corner of Lord Street and Nevill Street, is no longer answering calls, and a closure notice has reportedly been placed in the window.

Bistrot Pierre’s closure follows a series of hospitality losses in Southport, including:
- Willow Grove (Wetherspoons), which shut its doors two years ago.
- Crave Pizza and The Pavilion, which recently closed in the Town Hall Gardens.
The restaurant, which once occupied the former Russel & Bromley site, had been a popular dining spot, offering French-inspired cuisine and a stylish atmosphere for both locals and visitors. Its closure leaves another empty unit on Lord Street, raising concerns about the future of the area’s hospitality and retail offerings.
