Preston’s Bistrot Pierre Closes Its Doors

Preston has lost one of its most well-loved dining spots as Bistrot Pierre has officially closed. The popular French-inspired restaurant, located in the old Baptist Church on Fishergate, was a go-to destination for locals looking to enjoy a relaxed dining experience and French cuisine.

The closure comes as part of a wider restructuring following the company’s recent administration. Rising operational costs, including increases in the National Minimum Wage and National Insurance contributions, have made it difficult for the business to sustain some of its smaller locations. Preston is one of several Bistrot Pierre sites across the UK affected by these changes.

A spokesperson for Bistrot Pierre thanked staff and customers, stating:

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated team members who have worked tirelessly to provide exceptional service, and to our loyal customers who have supported us over the years.”

With Bistrot Pierre now closed, many Preston diners will be left reminiscing about the great meals and memories made there.
