Lancashire Police are continuing their search for 80-year-old Brian Fletcher, who went missing over the weekend while walking in the Tockholes area.
Brian, a keen walker and birdwatcher, travelled from his home in Bury on the afternoon of Saturday, 22nd March 2025, and was last seen around 1pm. He regularly visits the area, including Higher and Lower Roddlesworth Reservoirs.
His vehicle, a grey Citroen C4 Cactus (registration: WP64 HSC), was found parked in a layby on the A675 near Tockholes Road.
🚨 Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage
Lancashire Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage from the A675 Belthorn Road—between Abbey Village and Tockholes, recorded between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Saturday—to come forward. They are particularly interested in any footage showing Brian’s car in the area.

- Hair: Grey
- Distinguishing Features: Small scar on his face from a recent procedure

Search areas include Darwen Moor, Withnell Moor, and Roddlesworth Plantations.
