A Buckshaw Village crash has seen a Preston man seriously injured.
A pedestrian in his 30s sustained severe injuries in Buckshaw Village after being struck by an HGV while crossing Central Avenue near Dawson Lane around 7:45 am on Friday, November 24.
Emergency services closed the road as ambulance crews attended to the casualty.
The man, suffering from multiple broken bones, was transported to the hospital for treatment.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said;
“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital to be treated for major-trauma related injuries,” said a spokesman for North West Ambulance Service.
A police spokesman added: “Happened at 7.45am and was a collision between an HGV and a pedestrian. He suffered fractures and cuts and was taken to hospital.”
